The 561 Wednesday Appleby to Kendal bus service has been reinstated, and will begin on Wednesday 15th January. The timetable allows for three hours in Kendal, before returning to Appleby.
The 16 seater mini bus will pick up and drop off passengers at the Moot Hall in Appleby town centre, and will collect passengers at other stops not on the timetable, providing there is seats available on the bus.
ENCTS permits apply, however the £3 fare cap does not, and normal ticket fares will apply.
This service is both funded and operated by Westmorland & Furness Council using funding made available through UK Government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan.
