The Town Meeting of Appleby is taking place on Wednesday 29th April 2026. Sandwiches and refreshments will be served from 6.15pm with a chance to catch up with other attendees, followed by the meeting at 7pm.
As well as receiving an update from Appleby Town Council on their activities over the past year, it is hoped to have representatives from over 20 local community organisations and groups at the meeting, to tell everyone what they’ve been up to and what their plans are for the year ahead.
The meeting will also host the presentation of this year’s Community Achievement Awards, to honour and recognise some of the special people who are doing exceptional things for the good of our community.
