Appleby Town Council is delighted to welcome Stephen Metcalfe as a new member of staff. Stevie has been employed as Appleby’s new street cleaning officer to help keep the town tidy.
Stevie has had a successful first couple of weeks tidying up the pavements in the centre of town and has already received many compliments. Stevie’s normal days of work will be Tuesdays and Thursdays … please stop and say hello to him if you see him out and about.
If residents have any suggestions of areas that are in need a bit of attention, please speak to Stevie or pop into the TIC and we will see if they can be added to his work schedule.
